@That Beast Mode the only thing I love more than Marvel is Star Wars. You have my vote, even when I’m in the race. Who knew you would come back with something even cooler than Mechazilla?

We just got back from Universal /Disney (hence the light sabers). I have to say, I'm a grown man but I was totally geeking out at the Star Wars section. I saw Darth Vader walking along the park and it was epic.

Hahaha... Nah, even I wouldn't live in that dump. I'm in north jersey in the suburbs.
One of the first things I saw in the states after I immigrated here in 2000 was that sign on the bridge “what Trenton makes, the world takes”. Don’t recall much context about why I was there or anything but I remember for sure that it confused the fuck out of me.
To this day I’m not sure exactly what it means but it definitely captures the dark brooding spirit of the place.

My wife immigrated here not much after you, maybe there is some kind of immigration hub here or something. The area I am in is actually a very nice, fairly well off suburb, but man does NJ really punish its citizens with taxes.

No. Not a hub, but I always kind of felt growing up that if I wanted to compete for real it would have to be here. Kind of like if you play basketball, you want to play in the NBA.
I also felt correctly or not that this is where I’d have to go to be the “most free”.
It was a VERY hard thing to do for an 18 year old. I came here in December knowing nobody, with a bag full of long sleeve t-shirts I thought were winter clothes and $500 to claim a scholarship to a college in Vermont that had offered me one.
I got pickpocketed at JFK before I even left the airport so I was without anything including my passport.
It would then take me another 16 years and considerable effort/expense/heartache/trial and error to become a US citizen. Didn’t happen until 2016.
I’ts honestly one of the accomplishments I’m most proud of. I’m sure your wife is too.
At least my kids will never have to do that.

Ok, I think it's my turn fellas.... I got this one.

These two are my light to whatever darkness the world has to offer. My very reason I need to see every possible tomorrow I can and the greatest thing I will ever be thankful for. Plus if you can vote against kids having a lightsaber battle in the back of a Cybertruck - you're just a monster.

Epic Grok AI Jedi battle for effect and brownie points.

This entry is amazing so I hate to stickle BUT, there is still no bacon. Perhaps you should put some in the bottom corner like an artist signing his work or something?

Thats actually a pretty good story of how the American Dream works, or used to anyway. My wife is still super proud to be an American. No matter where we are, what we are doing, if the national anthem comes on she will stand, hand over heart and sing. She tells me all the time how happy she is that her kids will never know communism and is dumbfounded by some of the things on the news these days.

I'll fix that problem, I needed a real un-edited pic for the contest
