That rear window cannot be curved on the bottom though - it has to be an angle for the CT design continuity. And that slanted hatchback rear has to go, it has to be squared up for practical usage.

If CyberSUV looks like this, I'd be tempted.

The CT is the best truck available but media almost cheering extremism means blend in and Tesla wins.
Reality
Making a mini CT that looks the same as the current CT is bad idea! You Me and Millions of Tesla owners Know the problems
Mole Rats.
Tesla designers know the problem out in the real world and they are called moles, corporate spies. This Tesla corporate espionage, to damage Tesla by designing a look alike mini CT is a criminal act to damage Tesla.
Ok
It is not confidential information like trade secrets stolen to gain a competitive advantage but designing a mini CT is to break the Tesla company of ever producing a blend in Ev truck.
Wut?

I’ll be the first in line for it. Love my CyberTruck, haven’t used it for camping yet, I use my MX for it but I’d rather have more room and CyberSUV would be great.

I'd love for this to be produced, but I have doubts it ever will. We can see from the R1S and even ICE large SUVs like Expeditions and Tahoes that this market is limited. Take all controversy aside, 60k sales would be a good number. 100k would be amazing. Now that is more than the CT and it helps with the scale... but Tesla really don't like heavy investments in products that don't have a lot of scale. They will just tweak the S/X, Roadster and Semi haven't gotten huge investments, CT got a lot of investment... but the plan was 250k, not 25-50k. Tesla wants hundred of thousands of units... not tens. Semi will eventually have numbers and high ASP means they don't have to have 100k either, so we see that program ramping now.

Also any CyberSUV kills the Model X immediately. The YL when it comes over (and I don't believe Elon for a second there) will likely do that anyway though.

Terrible idea given the cool reception to the Cybertruck aesthetic and that these would most likely be soccer mom cars. Make a normal looking large electric SUV with some Tesla stylings. It would be amazing. Dont make a highly angled version that many women will not want to be seen in.

Tesla already said they weren't making a CyberSUV, so why do people keep thinking they are making a CyberSUV?

I suppose they have lied in the past, but I tend to believe them when they say they aren't expanding on a low volume platform.

For clarity, they haven't come out and said they are not making a CyberSUV. They have said they won't use stainless exterior again nor the air bending process, but they could easily utilize more normal steel body panels with a traditional painting process and fall right in line with their statements. Elon has even replied on desires for that type of vehicle (not that it means anything). Additionally they have clearly worked on it with this design model AND the supplier leak referencing one.

YES please. I'm locked into Tesla, and would LOVE a "CS".
Make it big and include options like refrigerator, "lounge configuraable" for 2nd and third row, and same steering, suspension, screen, "level park"

A vehicle without the stainless exterior and air bending could be cool, but it wouldn't be a CyberSUV in my eyes. It would be something like a hybrid of the X and CT. Which probably would be more acceptable to investors and the pitchfork wielding public anyway.

They could do the same basic design and simply paint it. The air bending is simply there to keep the surface of the stainless finish acceptable. They could stamp those pieces out of slightly thicker than normal sheet metal pretty easily and painting would get rid of any marks left by the stamping. They have plenty of stamping machines that could handle that, just have to make some new dies. All the angles and basic shape could remain the same... just painted instead of stainless. To me, it wouldn't make it any less 'cyber.' Though if they went less edgy, that might actually be a good thing for sales (which selfishly sucks as I want more automakers doing extreme designs instead of the same stuff repeated over and over).
