Since AFAIK it doesn't read "no right on red" signs (some of which are even worse because they only apply during certain hours, such as one by a school near me), IMO if there's any doubt at all it should wait for you to tap the pedal.

I'd also like to know if it's aware that DC is entirely no right on red by default (i.e. unless they have a "right on red after stop" sign somewhere).
Mine randomly gets in the left lane driving down 4 towards Upper Marlbarro

No and I usually have it by now. It’s possible that it’s paused for some fixes and waiting for compatibility testing on other VINs. This “may” be an indicator that our trucks might skip this update and get the next hot fix version number.

I'm ok with that. Maybe they will try to get things right...er.

Haven't had a reason to head that direction, give or take there's a German restaurant that way somewhere that I might want to try someday (but another much closer to me, that has items I like too).

A wrong left lane bias I run across is south on Alt-1 from the Arbutus supercharger. I want 695W, but both that and 695E are left turns, and it often goes too far left and then has to cut back to keep from going on 695E, which comes first heading south.

MAYBE that's better in "Chill", where it's less likely to want the leftmost lane. But mostly it's hit or miss.

13.2.8 Issues that need improvement, in order of priority

1. Stay in the center of the lane. Vehicle constantly drives into the shoulder on the right, and over the line on the left. This error occurs about 3 times per mile.

2. Speed control is poor. Driving at speed requested by driver would be ideal. Also, slowing from 25 to 16, or 70 to 60 is unnecessary and dangerous. Request speed function variance to be in mph, rather than percentage, since risk of citations is very real, and no good solution is available in current set up.

3 All other issues are irrelevant, since staying in the lane and traveling the correct speed are essential.

A percentage needn't suck. 10% of 30 is 3, 10% of 70 is 7. In both those cases, 10% probably won't get you a ticket, except if a highway that's not an interstate passes through a small town with its own police department.

Staying sensibly in lane and speed control may well be essential, but that doesn't preclude the existence of other essential behavior.

Yes, I am capable to do the math on percentages... [e^ipi-1=0] )))

Traveling +5 is the way I like to travel, and I have to reset the speed every time I cross a speed limit sign - which is about every mile in the city and every 5 miles on the highway. I might as well be driving without FSD, since this requires driver intervention constantly. Add to this that the vehicle slows down much below the speed limit each time it crosses a sign, and speeds up so slowly as to be irrelevant, which is just more driver intervention when the robot is supposed to be in control. The solution would be to travel the speed dictated by the human. I really don't see why this is so hard to program, so obviously the programmers don't consider this meaningful. But I make my suggestion anyways, because there are many people that like to drive this way.

If only it worked. I just went through this today, trying to figure out if I am doing something wrong, and I am not. Speed limit on Long Island NY is 55 on the highway/interstate and many places. So, while it is set at 10%, the truck decides to set the max speed at 75. WTF. It doesn't even read school zones, just goes blasting through. One school zone it is normally 30 during off school hours but it somehow reads the speed limit as 40. no reason that should happen, but it does.

Good to see another person in the eastern Mass area! I’m inside the 95 belt northwest of Boston.

I’ll be curious to see if this latest version doesn’t cross over the yellow line on single lane twisty backroads. Had that happen a couple of times on .6.
Yup. Hugging yellow outside line & crossing over it on same twisty back roads (on a bridge 100%). Need to be a simple fix you would think. Otherwise FSD 13.2.8 is 99% perfect here in Central Florida
