I noticed a few positive things:
  1. Nannycam / striker seems slightly less aggressive
  2. No longer drifts off left side of a 3 lane highway when getting around trucks (previous versions on 495 outside Boston would literally drive right over the yellow line into the "grooved" safety area repeatedly).
  3. Actually dodged a few deep puddles safely o backroads (I can't recall it doing that).
  4. No longer gets stuck in left lane of 3 way highway with blinker on forever before it goes back to middle lane.
And I charged from 20-80% on a 250 charger in 35 minutes -- that seems a little faster than before.

Nanny cam is still too aggressive for me, so I don't use it as much as I would otherwise.

Good to see another person in the eastern Mass area! I’m inside the 95 belt northwest of Boston.

I’ll be curious to see if this latest version doesn’t cross over the yellow line on single lane twisty backroads. Had that happen a couple of times on .6.

90 miles drive on 13.2.8 and it still hugs either side of lanes especially when there’s a curve in the road. Almost as if the truck is too big and bulky to center it precisely.
I’m still having lame centering issues as well, been a couple months now and it’s pretty frustrating.

Have you tried recalibrating the cameras? (quickest place is clearly marked middle lane of a 3+ lane each way interstate, probably in the daytime)

Not saying it will help, but be interesting to know if it did.

Glad they fixed #4 that was driving me crazy with it riding forever in the left with the blinker on. I haven’t had much highway time with it yet since the update and can’t roadtrip it until April.

This is still happening to me on 13.2.8 at interstate speeds but only when there's no urgency to do so. If a vehicle is approaching from behind it will immediately signal and get over, but if there's no pressure it'll signal its intent for what seems like a minute (its shorter in reality I know) before slowly moving over.

dang it. I wonder what is up with that? It confuses other drivers sometimes for me.

Gonna have to vent a little bit about this build. It has been the worst build for me since the end of the v12 series and the first 2 v13. I have 5 intersections in the Portland metropolitan area that aren’t “cookie cutter” intersections. FSD would fail 99% of the time in the old versions. The fail was almost every time lane selection. If I needed to be in the straight lane it would be in the turn only lane to go straight and vice versa.. the v13.2 builds have been pretty darn good with maybe a failure rate of 10-15% at those intersections, maybe better. This latest build hasn’t got them right at all. Like a 95 % fail rate. I know not everyone experiences these failures, but man, I can’t even use this FSD build except very basic routs and highway driving. Way too many dumb mistakes 15yr old drivers wouldn’t make. And in Portland where many hate the CT, the last thing I need is my truck driving worse than a new driver… I don’t know how we are approaching unsupervised. I thought we were closer to a 17yr old new driver, but it’s back to a 15 yr old…. Ok rant over. Carry on

The only thing I’ve noticed is sentry wastes more battery power now, even with camera events off.

Yep I've recalibrated a couple times, made sure cameras are clean etc.

Seems to be a software bug for me which only happens on multi-lane freeways/highways. I was also getting the issue where it would keep the right blinker on and kind of get stuck trying to get to the right lane. I assumed its because it hugs the left side of the lane so hard that it just perpetually tries to merge right.

It seems some people had that issue fixed in 13.2.8 so I'll give it a test and see. But I know that the centering still isn't fixed based on my drive last night.

Anybody else having issues with right on red lately? The truck waits for the turn but when there is traffic or a pedestrian it seems like it just decides to not ever turn after everything clears. I have to hit the pedal to get it moving. It does it now at about 50% of the turns. It used to move up some and then go. Now it slightly turns the wheel but never goes.

Also the lane selection is still an issue at least on streets. It had me in the right ending lane a couple times and had to try and get over but it was too late. Traffic was backed up. One issue we have with the lanes is it needs heavy mapping to know which ones end before it is too late. Something that a human driver knows is that a lane will end after an intersection from experience of driving that area.

It also wants to randomly change lanes for no reason still when it has a right turn coming. It will get left then get back right even when there's no cars. Most of the time it doesn't matter though it's just unusual behavior.

Ug, love that we have comments always that it's the best build ever and the worst build ever at the same time.

Since AFAIK it doesn't read "no right on red" signs (some of which are even worse because they only apply during certain hours, such as one by a school near me), IMO if there's any doubt at all it should wait for you to tap the pedal.

I'd also like to know if it's aware that DC is entirely no right on red by default (i.e. unless they have a "right on red after stop" sign somewhere).

For me, 13.2.8 has been really good. No more hugging the left side of the lane on highways. On tight twisty backrounds, it still crosses the double yellow line a little and only sometimes.

I used it to drive into downtown Boston today and it worked phenomenally well for the entire 15 mile drive (highway > city).

Not good for me. Changes lanes with a twitch, right turns and on ramps run over curbs left turns it hits the median. Won't change lanes in a normal time frame after it turns on the signal.... It seems to take longer to go after the light turns green.

I have 13.2.8, and still find that the truck often hugs the center line of a two lane highway.
