There are different models. The MY has historically had the best performance.
Don’t have much experience with the y unfortunately. Good to know.

There are no offsets that work or can be adjusted in V14.
Oh but there are… And they work!

This was a HUGE improvement. @hemiarch I’ll stop being a crybaby and using you as my personal shrink now.

I don’t mind it’s just that I can find you someone better. If you get legit shot through the heart, come see me but if you just hurt in your heart we ought to get you someone who’s actually qualified. Ideally who also has a nice ass…fringe benefit.

Seriously though, what do you recommend changing in the settings to make it better and where do I find it?

Those pics I posted are the autopilot tab. I cranked em up all the way (that bottom row) and mad max drives almost as boldly as it did in 14.1.7. It likes to go about 83 MPH on the freeway and takes turns quick and smooth on city streets. Once I get into a neighborhood I drop it to standard and it goes the speed limit.

Fair enough. Just wanted to make the point it’s already rather amazing for something this size.
My wife said the same thing!

Well, not about my truck.

Could be, I suppose. Idk, they got me upset with this one. Like actually physically angry with them. Not just a “well, it’ll get better.” It already was better. It was damn near perfect.

They took that away in an instant. Now my truck sucks at driving. Like an unsafe, unsatisfactory, unusable level of suck. If they’d do actual release notes on the changes instead of their half ass copy/paste maybe we could make an informed decision.

Whoever oversaw 14.2 should be fired. If it was the same person who oversaw 14.1.7, he clearly had a mental breakdown and should be fired and admitted to a psych ward.
Reading things like this is confusing to me. 14.2 is better, by far, in every category in my truck. Every category except speed control and THAT seems to be resolving itself. Though, I do cycle through modes depending on where I am and traffic at times. But for me, you'd have to threaten me with arm removal to drag me back to 14.1.7

One more thing. The 1/4 mile lane changes. 13.2.9 would blink for a while then move over for a while before eventually completing a task humans do in 3 blinks of the signal. 14.1.7 would just sorta… do it. In a reasonable amount of time. Same confidence as making a side street turn. 14.2 is back to being the 1/4 mile hero. I may be nit picking, but driving well under the limit and taking all day to turn or change lanes doesn’t equal safe. It equals being pathetic and could have consequences on the road, especially in this controversial thing we’re driving around.
You are right. I've noticed mine takes a long time but only sometimes. I think when my rear camera is a little dirty. But, it creeps back to the right if I initiate a lane change but if someone comes up behind me (even in Hurry mode), she gets right over like it's nobody's business. It's been slow to change lanes for a LOOOOOOOONG time (sometimes). This should be looked into.
