Great feature. Here is my wish addition.
I hope TESLA would also incorporate a safety feature for the back hatch. Right now if you use the app to open the rear hatch, it just pops open and will bang into any object in its way (garage door, Car, Pole, a wall). I wish the vehicle would use its camera or something to detect a possible object, and NOT allow the hatch to open to prevent damage.
My other pet peeve is: currently you can remotely open a door using the app with a simple click. I have accidentally opened the door when the phone was in my pocket from Asia, while the truck was parked at the airport. There should be some kind of way to prevent a simple click to unlock..maybe a slider bar or hold to open…not just a simple tap.
