I just spoke to my rep at the SC and they told me that the AWD can only install 2 crossbars across the bed of the truck. there is no availability or retrofit to add the crossbars over the roof. Can anyone confirm this?

I found this part but they told me that it's not applicable to my model.

thanks.

Lies, 2025 AWD, got appliqué done 3 wks ago

Furthermore my rep ordered the wrong window seal because he didn’t know the quarter window is separate from the passenger door window(I didn’t know either lol). They make mistakes.

FYI mobile home service is way to go, takes 10 minutes

thanks, from everything I read I though they were wrong but I didnt want to challenge them until I really knew. I'll just order them from the site and force them to install them.

Are they difficult to install?

Doable with pry tool.

I had appliqué scheduled with tire rotation and warranty work, they forced the appliqué install to be completed by mobile service. I allowed it and it cost nothing beyond the 150 on website.

Where does it say they won’t fit?

No, the old ones pop right off when lifted, the new ones snap right in place. No fasteners needed. The purchase includes shipping to SC of your choice and install though.

Take a look at Mars Adventure Gear too. OEM is nice, but these are nicer.
Wholeheartedly disagree. Not that mars racks are probably great but the level of slick you get in assembly and disassembly of the oem setup as well as the ability to stow them in the vault when you don’t feel like paying the aerodynamic piper is second to none.

Yeah, depends heavily on the use case. Stowing is great if you rarely ever do truck things, but if you do truck things all the time, it's better to just mount everything and leave it up.

I also haven't discerned any range decrease from my rack system. Slight noise increase, but even that is not much at all.

Fair. Except how many truck things do you do that require both an entire truck bed AND roof rack simultaneously? They stow in an otherwise mostly dead space in the vault without much fanfare.
You’re right about use case dependence. And I can’t speak for you but I do need mine to do truck things just not daily because I’m not a tradesperson. One more counterpoint, I happen to like the mars design but not everyone wants to permanently alter the original Tesla design not just from the indiscernibly low impact it has on range that you haven’t noticed standpoint but also aesthetically. Franz is no dummy.
Then there is the whole, I don’t mind my roof glass being at least partially obstructed 100% of the time. Might be true for you but not everyone.
