This thread exists because of Tesla's failure to manage customer's expectations. I don't care if you get annoyed that I think Tesla's customer experience sucks. It's my experience. You mean nothing to me, so I do not value your opinion.

So why does a estimated delivery date of Jan-Mar need more explanation?

It's unrealistic customer expectations exaggerated by a mob mentality.

The mob trying to create detailed mechanisms such as VIN tracking and grossly inadequate reservations and delivery lists just add to the problem.

This is not Tesla first major delivery event like this. And no one want to listen to how it worked previously.

Ahh yeah sucks right now, but there is no failure. Like none whatsoever. This is a rollout of beanie babies and people want the beanie babies like now. They want them wrapped up like christmas presents.

Many just want to be first. Creating some line of reservations that never was created or many other things that are manufactured in one's mind. Quite an exercise in wants and desires. Pulling at people each way. Some pissed, some elated.

I don't want to look like the above. So I am just chill right now. 60+ or whatever. It will be here when it does get here.

After 4 yrs of virtually no information what makes anyone think it was suddenly going to change. The truck is actually real now..enjoy that fact and the knowledge that one IS coming your way.

depends where too. It's not just about order date but delivery location now which sucks. I'd drive anywhere to get my car faster

Tomorrow will be 60 days since configuring my CT. I was invited on 12/8, configured on 12/22. I know some have been waiting longer than I have but the timeline I feel is slipping longer and longer. I feel Tesla is providing a 90-day delivery window since invites are given a 3-month timeframe. I am becoming impatient, as time goes on, may not have been so bad if I hadn't sold my Model 3 so quickly.

Something wrong in Tesla Austin they show lots of Cybertruck’s but it doesn’t appear that any Vin numbers are being issued.
