Some regressions I've noticed in FSD 14.2.2.5:
- The truck attempted several passes on the highway only to abort the pass at the last second and pull back behind the vehicle it was trying to pass. This happens several times during a road trip yesterday. Anyone else experiencing this?
- Speed profiles remain a disaster and seem to be getting worse: no profile will reach the speed limit without applying the go pedal: hurry, mad max, doesn't matter - speed limit is 70, truck accelerates to 67 and stays there.
- Even worse, since the truck seems incapable of understanding speed limit signs, it's a constant battle adjusting speed profiles, working the pedal, disengaging FSD - just a huge headache that takes a magical experience and makes it tedious. For example, my trip was on a highway that is mostly 110kmh and has been for decades. Not once did the truck get the speed limit right. Mostly it thought it was 70, sometimes 80, sometimes 60. No speed profile was sufficient to reach the speed limit. Super frustrating. If there was a way to downgrade to the last version of FSD that allowed max speed control I'd downgrade in a heartbeat, even if it meant giving up all the improvements to FSD. I can appreciate the intent of speed profiles in an autonomous world, but it has a dependency on accurate speed limit sign recognition, and that dependency remains unmet.
