The M3 powers your house?

I power my house with my CT.
No, but it pulls a hell of a lot less power from my powerwalls than the Cybertruck. Cybertruck is still unable to work with Powerwalls for bi-directional power.

With the off gassing requiring cabin overheat protection to run AC all day, and the increased threat of attacks with a Cybertruck vs M3, sentry needs to run 24/7, using several kWh a day.

Cybertruck is just dead weight and not doing what it was advertised to do, power my house for extended outages. Almost used it for that on my taxes and wrote it off as an energy storage system. Good think I didn't, I'd be screwed in an audit, since it still can't do that.

Even if it could, it doesn't qualify. This has been beat to death, but no vehicle would qualify for that.

It sucks that it doesn't work automatically with Powerwalls, but I would guess the people wanting that are so small in number, it's almost irrelevant. Some here are using the CT to power their house in emergency, so it absolutely can.

At the end of the day it's a vehicle, not an additional battery pack. If you don't need a truck, move back to the M3.

I knew it had the hardware. In the driver’s seat headrest, you can feel something under the upholstery, strategically placed near the driver’s ears. My first thought was that they were speakers, but I couldn’t hear them when music was playing, so it must be for the ANC. You can see the contour in the picture; the passenger seat has it as well.

With other 1 million powerwalls sold, there's likely a large overlap of us with both. I know a few that live near me alone. It's a bad look to tell those invested in the ecosystem to pound sound for a third year, after advertising it as a capability.

People. This thread is about ANC in the truck. Take your conversation about powering your home with your truck to the proper post/thread. FFS
It's relevant, because it shows that Tesla has put the Cybertruck on the back burner. Lumped in with X and S in sales numbers, and when it comes to enabling features or updating it with software that unlocks capabilities.

Where's our ASS? At least we got FSD after ~a year, hopefully it doesn't start lagging behind, because it's not worth the effort to update. ANC. Range extender, canned. Autosteer was bundled, but never delivered. Do they just pull the plug and end production at some point?

Having a multiple back and forths about it and not ANC makes your interactions the irrelevant part of this thread. Be better.

I've had noise canceling headphones and earbuds since they were invented. They were always underwhelming. But. this last year i was gifted a high end set from a hotel chain i stay at a lot. I thought "Great, another set of noise canceling earbuds" When i tried them out i was amazed. totally. They're like the cone of silence. As an acoustic engineer and a physicist, i fully understand the science behind them. maybe with the recent advances in computers and especially AI they are suddenly vastly improved? Tesla could be working on using their built in AI in a novel manner that takes some developing. Remember, the CT was designed to be beyond flagship!
What brand are they. I watch a lot of tech videos and reviews. All claim that Apple AirPod pro 3s are the best, a slight better than the 2s. It’s time for me to upgrade and the jump from 2-3 is t huge.

Sony makes the best over the ear ANC headphones. Apple, IMO, isn't in the top 3.

I travel a lot and buy new headphones every other year. I've owned 3 versions of the WH series from Sony, 1 Bose Quiet Comfort, and won a pair of Airpod Max.

IMO, ANC are required if you fly often.

edit: I do use Airpod Pro in ear sometimes, but the over the ear are a different level of ANC than any in ear version.

It's active on the S/X, but terrible.
On my X,I thought it was amazing. On one occasion I saw this groundskeeper cutting the grass and realized I couldn't hear him at all. I then rolled down my window and it was very loud. I can't wait for them to turn it on in the truck.

The newer X has a quiet cabin, but almost all third party tests show no difference with ANC on or off.

In short, I think you fell for a placebo.
