Active Road Noise Reduction (Active Noise Cancellation (ANC)) Now Available on Cybertruck!

Opened audio screen during second drive (2026 AWD Premium) since installed to find it asking for audio sound off, that there was too much noise to calibrate. Shut audio off, as well as climate for a quiet cabin.

Calibration went from 20% to 40, eventually 60% to 80 within 10 minutes. Was flipping between “temporarily unavailable” to bouncing between 40 and 80% until it read something like sound reduction is optimized…… it has said that ever since, but I can still hear my wife. So it isn’t optimized enough.

Installed 2026.2.9.1 yesterday, and it had the Active Road Noise Reduction feature.

I tried it out today...... may be just me psychologically..... when I played music, I did hear more crispy mid-range (e.g. vocal) like in my Model S.

Before, I thought my Model S interior was smaller or more insulated, hence it had a soundproof studio room feel -- the interior was more quite and the music was more 'crisp,' without the white noises from the outside world.

Very very subtly, though.

Why do they leave owners in the dark? Will we get ANC? Someone must have the answer and give us the answer. It's not a mystery truck from outer space even though it might look like one. It was built here is the US so someone knows.
