After 4+ Months-- CyberTruck VIN & Order Ready!... I Passed, Was Given a "HOLD"

Received a text last week from Tesla stating that my Cybertruck BEAST was "on track for pickup" and asked if I was "ready for the Cybertruck as soon as it is ready?"
I've been really bugged and the delay.
So I simply texted back "After 4 months? No. Pass."
They texted back about an hour and a half later "Would you like to be placed on a hold or would you like to cancel this order?"
I was surprised to hear this. So I asked for my options. (I'll attach a screenshot of the text)
In short-- my order is on hold for 6 months.

Has anyone else gone down the HOLD MY ORDER route as well?
*Prob. going to see if I can hold out for Non Founder model whenever that comes out.

Lots of people waiting for VIN and you’re passing. Waste, you’re not saving as much money as you think you are.

Many folks have done this.

If you wait and dont go with FSD, AT wheels/tires, and dont care about powershare, the white interior trim, or the others extras, then you of could end up saving a good chunk of change.

If you wait and then buy most of the above items as options anyway, you're not saving much at all(a bit subjective of course). Also, since the cyberbeast doesnt qualify for the tax credit, this additional benefit doesn't come into play from waiting.

I want fully spec'd, so for that reason, i'm going for it.
