anyone else have this issue?

was wondering if this was a software issue or just coincidence. i did reboot the truck several times and drove a few miles but to no avail.

I do have a service appointment in a 4 days but concerned about sentry mode not working on that side due to all the crazy vandals.

Can you see any more details in service mode?

Go into Service Mode and perform a "Reset DAS" (Driver Assist System)

This should be an option in the Driver Assist > Cameras menu

That's not Service Mode, that's the Service menu.

Go to Software > Tap and hold the Cybertruck logo for a few seconds > this should show a password prompt > type "service" (without the quotes) > This will put you in Service Mode

Others have pointed out strange side-effects (cameras missing, no audio to the rear speakers, etc.) after a Software Update, but that managed to resolve themselves after a day or so. Current theory is that the body modules need updates too, and sometimes it takes a few retries/resets.

My right camera went out 2 weeks ago prior to update. However, sometimes it comes on, sometimes it doesn’t which prevents FSD from being used. Yesterday it didn’t work, today it did, but on my second drive. Pretty annoying. I’m thinking there’s a bad connection to the camera or the camera needs replacing?

My left one went out briefly a couple weeks prior to the update, then came back and has been fine ever since. Who knows…

You can also reinstall the software from Service Mode. I had to do that once on our Model X when a module was freaking out after a software update.

Same thing happened in my 2021 M3. Scheduled service and in the 2 weeks before my appointment, it started working again. Unless the camera just died, which seems unlikely, updates can make this happen.
