Android App Version - what's the deal with the releases?

I've been checking on this for a while. The update was available today. I think it's one of their great features. Especially that you can save clips right to your phone.

Just checked for pending updates on my Pixel 9 Pro Fold and found it ready to be installed - doing so now. I'm in Canada.

It has the sentry clip viewing, which I just tried - it's pretty cool, and allows you to export 30 second clips to Google Photos.

App start up seems to be a little slower.

No noticable increase in battery drain so far.
