Nice! What build plate and filament did you use? I used black also, but the texture makes it look almost identical to the wheel. Does yours look that way in person?

It's not exactly the same texture, but the color and sheen look very nice on the wheel.

I think your plate is slightly less textured than mine, looks great! Glad you like the design!

For those wondering about the filament used on the original design... best results with first layer at 240C regardless of what the label says. Bed temp 60C. But this ran out, trying a couple other brands next week printing a few for friends, curious to see if they look any different!

Hey @countryboy ... Awesome project! My printer is a Prusa Mk 3... will I be able to use the 999+ perimeter settings for the first layer? I'm not quite sure where to look for that setting so any help would be appreciated!
