I know CybertruckCO has their kit, so does Unplugged, anybody gone the route of raising their CT yet? Would love to see how it looks, and acts on the road before I pull the trigger ..

I would be concerned of any issues with the suspension.

There's already random issues because of such a new vehicle, but Tesla has always been quick to blame upgrades to get out of warranty work (even if they lose in small claims).

It's why I never put an automatic frunk kit on any of my Teslas. A few swung open and destroyed the windshield and Tesla wouldn't even work on some. Or the puddle light kits people used that broke people's windows.

In my experience I have found the exact opposite to be true. My driver AND passenger windows were broken and what should have been an insurance claim turned in to them replacing it for free. At no point did I try to hide or deceive the SC to get out of paying for new windows.

I've been waiting for others to get more miles on moldified suspension also. Once my new/factory warranty ends I plan on doing a lot more mod work and just soaking up the costs when it goes South :ROFLMAO:

I believe the 1-2" lift kits are intended for fitting 37" tires comfortably in all suspension modes, including entry. But beyond that, I don't see a need or purpose to them.

Broken from aftermarket puddle lights?

I brought that one up because there were a ton of people on TMC that Tesla told they added an aftermarket part and Tesla wouldn't cover the glass, some said Tesla wouldn't even work on it unless they uninstalled it first. Same with the auto-frunk.

uh huh.... I have an after market automatic trunk opener on my model 3 and they've never whined about it, nor did it void my warranty on that car when the tail lights had water intrusion issues.

The CT windows were broken with rocks, actually. And they still replaced them for free on the warranty. I also have aftermarket puddle lights from Abstract Ocean on my CT, I haven't heard anything about them from the SC and they're hard to miss since they're red.

The taillights have nothing to do with the frunk. If the modified part is connected to an issue, that's when Tesla has a history of blaming it or even not working on that area.

The puddle lights were very well documented. If people used the emergency release to open the door and it cracked the window, Tesla Service told people to remove the puddle lights before they would work on them.

Much of this varies from SC to SC, but there's a lot of cases where Tesla has blamed MPP coilovers, or funk kits, or puddle lights on issue that are related to that area, but not the reason. The MPP one was from a ball joint breaking. They told the customer they modified the suspension, they'd have to pay for it.

Aftermarket trunk opener in my case, not frunk. But I understand you're referring to an Internet article. I'm sure this has happened somewhere, but it'd have to be a pretty poorly done job to carry any burden of proof to void the warranty like that.

I'm gonna call BS on the puddle lights thing. The magnuson-moss act requires burden of proof to void a warranty. If you're referring to this, then maybe it's applicable in Canada? Having worked closely with Tesla for 6 years, I can confidently say that you'd have to be an absolute Karen or straight up ass hole to get an SC to hate you enough to do the paper work and effort to properly document and get around what would normally be a warranty claim. Voiding a warranty is much harder than simply not having something covered by a warranty, different things

Just typing in Tesla voiding warranty, there's a ton of threads from all over the US. Again, it's SC by SC, but there are some that even took tesla to small claims court and won.

But in all seriousness, it must be different from SC to SC as you mentioned. All the SCs I know or have worked with have been super amazing, especially to folks that are understanding and helpful.
