Got mine yesterday. Grey looks fantastic. Much darker than some of the pictures and videos I’ve seen. Not sure if they changed to a darker material but mine looks great.

After seeing the photos here of the grey I was going to switch back to white because I thought it looked terrible, like it had green or beige in it. Ended up with a surprise (I was told grey wouldn’t be available till Q4) grey VIN and absolutely love the color in person. I think it suits the Beast more than white.

LOVE IT! A lot of the early pictures made it look like it was a very light color even sickly looking. But those are just bad photos with poor white balance it may not be quite as dark as it shows on the order page from Tesla but it is a very nice looking kind-of “storm cloud gray” in person.

here’s some photos that show it I think pretty well. Notice in the one with the bright sunlight in places that the bona fide black parts of the trim look very light as well. The first video and pictures for tactical gray in the wild were simply over exposed and made it look terrible. When I picked up my Cyberbeast (on 07/29/24) there was a guy there who was trying to make up his mind and finalize his order (after getting his FS invite) and after seeing my car he immediately settled in on wanting tactical gray. It’s awesome, imo.

Anyone with a May/June order still not got tactical grey VIN yet ?

I wonder whether my order has got "stuck" somehow.

I configured in May with WA delivery. In June I changed to FL because we are relocating. Had a few text messages with Tesla folks to complete the changes.

No VIN yet. Wondering whether to try changing it back to white interior and then back to grey .... may get the order "unstuck" ?

Finally got the VIN today. Reached out to Tesla via text messages last week and was told to expect a VIN in 2 to 4 weeks.

Now - when I go to give my insurance, it doesn't recognize my GEICO NAIC number. Does anyone else got this problem ... in Florida ?

Picked up my AWD yesterday. Overall fit & finish was ok, no major issues. According to the sticker my 218xx VIN was manufactured under the "new process" on 7/3/24.

The

grey doesn't look dark, but it's not as light as other pictures I saw led me to believe.
