With the savings and possible EV Credit for the 2025 NON FS CyberTruck have any reservation holders started to apply their savings and begin ordering aftermarket parts and accessories ?

The reason is so when the CyberTruck arrives all those things will be paid off and you will not be hit all at once with upgrades you want to do.

That doesn't make any sense. You don't even know what the Non-FS will cost, if it will qualify for tax credits, etc.

Most people don't buy parts for a vehicle before they've even ordered it. While they are waiting for delivery, sure.

Also, most of the CT parts from Tesla require you to own a CT to order.

lol nope, learned my lesson buying a bunch of things for my M3P, turns out the P came with them and I was well past the return deadline. Now I have a bunch of duplicates. I’ll wait till it comes and get hit all at once, just stack the cash in my upgrades pile and let it build. Who knows prices may be cheaper then too.

What makes you think you can take delivery of a non-FS in 2025? Right now it's still a 3+ month wait for FS, that's after blowing through the entire reservation list, and they will keep selling to the end of 2024 at least.

Because they are obviously running out of people seeing how the FS is open to order for everyone and anyone and there is still 4 months left in 2024

It at least shows order now for Est. Delivery Sep - Oct 2024

I’ve bought parts for EVERY ONE of my 4 Teslas in advance of taking delivery. EVERY ONE. For my CyberBeast some parts (mudflaps, wheel covers) were in my garage BEFORE I got my invite to configure. Unplugged Performance (invincible) carbon fiber lightbar frunk cover ordered the same day I configured. Even though I didn’t get my FS CB until eight months after deliveries started, I’ll be one of the first people on the road with one of these because I’m near the very front of the line.

https://unpluggedperformance.com/pr...d-system-with-up-invincible-50-led-light-bar/

Reasons to do this:

1. First-up: Limited stock and availability of MANY ACCESSORIES. Will get worse as more rigs hit the road.

2. Vanity: I didn’t want to drive off the lot with rusty centercaps and exposed lugs. AND … I didn’t! I came to pick up my truck with my center cap covers in tow and put them on at the SC before leaving. [I also had the aftermarket cabon fiber spoiler and side mirror caps I wanted for my ‘21 M3P a month before the car was delivered along with other parts.

3. Preparation: Some things you just know you’re going to use/need (like a dog seat cover. Preparing in advance is a virtue not something to allow small-minded naysayers to dissuade you from because of their own scotoma and made-up stats. ?

Do your thing, Pal. Be your own man!

1. M3P parts laid out 2 months (or more) before car arrived.
2. CyberBeast with wheels covers in place one hour after delivery.

I only made one such mistake in pre-ordering stuff for 4 Teslas. I somehow didn’t realize that the foundation package included the roof shade for my CyberBeast. I could’ve returned it and had an RMA but dropped the ball due to some travel. I also could’ve sold it for an up-charge when they were out. I imagine I’ll have that opportunity again.

I will buy parts once my order is actually in. Right now I have the OMFG decal but thats about it.
If I learned anything in the last 4+ years, it's to not trust that I will for sure be getting this truck.

Still want, but who knows when. and In the meantime any money that mightve been usable for parts is going toward buying the darn thing lol

People took the opening of orders to everyone (and internationally) the wrong way.

The Law of Supply states as price goes up, supply goes up.

Tesla saw the FS premium was selling well so they increased production and opened up sales.

I don't see why someone would order parts for a vehicle that they don't have yet. Or even ordered.
Especially since money in the bank gets bigger. Accessories just... Well, they have a chance to be misprints or whatever and then you can't return them.

I did make my new carport large enough to park a truck in, tho. Is that an accessory?
