To help mitigate vibration of the covers and mounting hardware I applied a couple dollops of high temperature RTV silicon to the mounting bracket before setting them in place. I also used blue loctite to secure the mounting screws. So far so good. Only time will tell.I would say that at some point with the attachment method that comes with these things that you are going to develop a rattle, whether that is tomorrow or next year, who knows, but I developed 2 and was tired of dealing with it so I went to town on solving the problem. There may well be other solutions. Just keep an eye and ear on it and deal with it when you need to.
Just installed these today, really well made and easy to installDo these covers for under $60 look the same to you guys as those often sold by our dear sponsor friends for 2-3 hundred dollars and often gifted with large purchases like fridges and running boards and such?

I agree, the texture on the calipers is not smooth and wonder how the wrap would flow in those areas. Any reason why not to buy blue covers which are available. In case you all are curious what direction this is going on the bluey truck.
This is the stuff I bought.

It’s supposed to do something of this nature

I just didn’t want to put it directly on the calipers hence the search for the covers.
Three reasons.I agree, the texture on the calipers is not smooth and wonder how the wrap would flow in those areas. Any reason why not to buy blue covers which are available.
no signs of rattle they seem to fit pretty tight, but if they start rattling, I think I’m just gonna put a little bit of 3M double-sided tape inside them to pad it and keep them tighterFirst of all, that looks awesome.
I got mine too but haven’t had time to wrap them in the reflective blue yet.
any sign of that rattle that’s been mentioned?
I believe t-sport line sells the decals if memory serves
I do have an extra pair of yellow tow hook covers in a box around here somewhere...The yellow on the black car is awesome though.
btw, may want to reach out to @TeslaKen.
He mentioned to me recently that he has a pair of yellow hook covers he’s not using.
Ken, maybe you can work something out with @JerseyMike ?
