Woo hoo! Great progress. I have to admit it had me worried that it was talking Tesla so long to release this. Am still hoping for "Summon On Steroids" some day (dumb summon with full front and rear steering control for self-spotting through tricky terrain).

This repost from Tesla suggests exactly that. The words “shortly” and “ASS” have never before appeared in any communication about CT from Tesla. I don’t see any reason to not take it at face value.

Crazy, this coming out now and my FSD has been the worst since I bought my Cybertruck in 2024.

It’s constantly making wrong random turns during FSD. It attempts to make turns for absolutely no reason. Doing its own thing and ignoring the navigation. FSD is fine, aside from following directions which makes unreliable at the moment.

Yes, it is a slow rollout, we’ve all been waiting for it, but I guess if we’re too discouraged, we could always go by Chevrolet or a ram. I’m sure they have smart summons on their vehicles. Oh that’s right they don’t even profess to even be trying to get it. I have it on my model three really is working. Good now hang in there guys.

Tesla has been the carrot dangler for just about every new feature on a car. People are willing to buy a product that isn't finished and in beta. Pretty brilliant if you ask me. I do miss just normal summon. That has been a great feature over the years just for simple stuff.

Agreed, while I don't love the carrot dangling I see it as the cost of doing business.
What is problematic is when the carrot gets dangled then never given to this poor donkey.

yeah I think around the 4th would be the earliest. Feel like they’d bundle an update around then. Glad to finally be getting closer to parity with S3XY
