Just picked up my CT from being wrapped. Was shooting for a burnt orange with a color shift effect. This is actually
Aura Hyper Matte Black Red Shift PPF

In darker light, the black matte really comes out but these were taken mid-afternoon so the color pops and the black fades away. I couldn't be happier with this. I will likely try and ceramic coat it myself which will add a little more sheen.

Windows were also tinted which adds a lot to the overall look imo.

Funny how some of the pics make the frunk look like a completely different color but it is all one color that changes with the light angle.

That looks great, OP!!

If I ever wrap mine, my first choice is some sort of burnt orange. Your wrap looks like it nails the look!!

I'm actually considering the same PPF. I was fascinated by the
3M Volcanic Flare, then started to look similar color shift PPF.

Since it's a smaller brand with only a 6-year warranty, @CG Cowboy may I know how's your first year experience with this PPF?

It's held up quite well over the first year. I'm still very happy with it. I did decide to ceramic coat it which didn't change the sheen as much as I thought it would but made the bugs easier to wash off.

I will say I made the mistake of getting too close with the power washer a couple weeks ago and put a couple of very small cuts into the wrap. I don't mention it because I think it was a fault of the wrap. I got way too close (a couple inches) trying to get some stubborn bug guts off. I should have known better. It's widely known to use the white connector (40 degree spray) on a power washer and don't get too close. Without my stupidity, it's been a solid wrap. I have heard 2nd hand that people see my CT around town and comment how amazing it looks.

fwiw, I looked at Volcanic Flare as well. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

Good luck!

Got it, it's always a pain to see all the bugs caught by CT.

I'll probably go with this ppf then, thanks for sharing your experience!
