Anyone else notice that Auto High Beam works now? I’ve always had it enabled but it never worked since I got my truck in March. But after latest update to 2024.26.11, I noticed it actually switched high beams on and off when I’m driving in the dark. My previous Teslas did this better than any other car I have owned.

There seems to be a software bug that I noticed early on... you had to press the high beam/light button on steering wheel and then turn OFF/ON auto high beams for it to work.... even if you have auto high beams on in the Light menu. This bug still persists as I had to do it a few days ago. auto high beams seem to turn back off if you press the steering wheel button again.

Mine’s been working since pickup in late July, BUT to activate the “Auto” function the toggle had to be “on” in the controls AND you have to hold down the high-beam button for a half second each time you drive, seemingly to tell the truck that you want to enable high beams.

None of this makes any sense. It’s all over the place. Mine don’t work regardless of the position of the slider. The pushing the button every time you drive is ridiculous. No one would do that by design. No other teslas do that.

Same. Sometimes it just works - but more often than not this is what I have to do.

Works exactly the same as in Model 3. Auto High Beam has to be set in the settings and when you want to activate you press high beam once for a couple of seconds.

Same issue and it's November 7th. Auto High Beams is enabled to all the correct setting on the screen but every time I get in the car (at night), I have to engage the steering wheel button for 3 seconds to engage Auto High Beams. Hope there's a fix for this as if it's switched to 'on' in settings, it should just be on. Elon, with your Whitehouse power now, make it happen.

Have you tried toggling it off and then back on in the settings? That does it for me.

Works exactly as it should on mine. They come on automatically in the dark at speeds of 25 mph or more. Under that I have to press the high beam button.
