Has anyone had this alert show up? It sure changes the way you drive the pickup. I have a service request to get it addressed but was wondering if any one knew what causes the issue.

I just had this pop up on mine near the end of a 100+ mile trip. I got home, charged it up just part way, checked on it tonight and the alert is gone. "There are no active alerts".

Did you learn anything about this? Curious what I might be dealing with.

Thanks

Yes, I did have it in for service multiple times. After a couple visits, they replaced the following part.

MID VOLTAGE REAR CONTROLLER(1810836-12-D)

That worked for about 5 months and it came back again. It was intermittent but still given they have a complete log of the errors and it is a safety issue, it needed to be resolved. They said it was the right rear parking brake was not working properly so the replace the whole caliper assembly. That was about a 2 weeks ago and it seems to be corrected for now.

REAR BRAKE CALIPER - RIGHT HAND(1250642-00-D)

Thanks for the update. Hopefully that fixes it for you.

Similar issue, going from Park to Drive or Park to Reverse... the rear driver side parking brake would make a loud grinding sound.

Technician detected low voltage in brake circuit and diagnosed it as bad rear parking brake caliper and replaced both rear calipers last week. Drove it 400+ miles and issue didn't return.
