I wouldn’t put much stock into the estimates that you get. They can change wildly even for a product that is already in production. I ordered a premium AWD on Jan 22nd, a very standard configuration with nothing special. I’m in Atlanta, not exactly some remote location that’s hard to reach. My estimate when i ordered was Feb 11 - Feb 25. By the time Feb 11 rolled around, it had moved to Mar 1 - Mar 15. Then it became March 12- March 31. Then March 15- March 31. Finally went into production on March 20, almost a month beyond the original worst-case expected delivery Date.I placed my AWD order less than 48hrs after it was announced. I got a June '26 delivery estimate. Since this truck is on a different timeline than Beast and premium AWD, is there way to check progress?
I've been out of the CT loop for a couple of years so other than this forum, is there any other resource we can periodically check progress while we wait. I know there used to be a couple drone pilots showing daily/weekly factory flyovers with commentary.
Absolutely, I'm not getting any hopes up since I know there's a multitude of things that can happen.I wouldn’t put much stock into the estimates that you get. You’re gonna get an awesome truck at an awesome price, but don’t torture yourself. Just forget about it until at least mid june and then maybe start checking weekly for updates. It’s just painful to check every day and have your hopes dashed.
Hard to understand, I have heard it depends on where you live as they send out batches.I ordered on January 19th, 30 minutes after the announcement and the AI is telling me 2027. My reservation is RN127124728.
This is what the AI is telling me when asking the same question OP asked.
"Your estimated delivery window is 2027. Delivery scheduling will open once we confirm your vehicle's arrival date"
I ordered on the 24th with a RN of 127174xxx. So roughly 50,000 orders in 5 days assuming the numbers are sequential. Originally given a Sep-Oct estimate, but getting the same seemingly boilerplate “2027” now as well.I ordered on January 19th, 30 minutes after the announcement and the AI is telling me 2027. 50k orders globally for all vehicles.I ordered on the 24th with a RN of 127174xxx. So roughly 50,000 orders in 5 days assuming the numbers are sequential. Originally given a Sep-Oct estimate, but getting the same seemingly boilerplate “2027” now as well.
Ahh…makes more sense. I thought that was a big number. That gives some hope these orders could be fulfilled in a reasonable timeframe.50k orders globally for all vehicles.
Short answer, not really lol. App + account page is all you get and it barely updates. Real signals are VIN assigned, text from Tesla, or sudden delivery window tighten. Those drone flyovers are fun but useless for your specific order. If you’re early AWD you’ll just sit in “June” limbo for a while, then it jumps fast out of nowhere. Just check once a week and forget it, saves your sanity.I placed my AWD order less than 48hrs after it was announced. I got a June '26 delivery estimate. Lets look at this sanely. Globally how many cars in the quarter? Over 5 days how many of them would be ordered? How much is 50k above that?50k orders globally for all vehicles.
