Bed grid system for locking things in

I Saw this on X and i thought that would be way better than the divider. It would need a tilt mechanism though for the smugglers bay. I think Tesla should of done something like this.

Not on X so I miss all the good stuff but I have to wonder what's the application here? I have two cargo nets to secure stuff in the bed and they are anchored to the L-Track. I also bungee things as needed using the L-Track anchors.

It would seem to be pretty easy to DIY some dividers for speciality applications.

I do like the Tesla divider. It's a lovely piece of kit but, sometimes the gap it leaves when when bringing it way back towards the tailgate still allows stuff to slide around.

I also tend to leave it just behind the smugglers bay hinge point, which is far enough away so that if I want to move it I have to get into the bed.

Personally I find nets a little loosy goosey. I have the testa one for the frunk. That thing kinda sucks.

Maybe it's me. But anyway, I just liked the modular essence of this product.

I love my t-mat. The smugglers bay problem can be overcome by using zip ties to make a hinge but even just using a shirt one all the way from the window area to the hinge is very useful. Highly recommend. My bed divider mostly collects dust.

I considered the bed grid system but found that once I installed this bet mat, nothing slides. I have had totes, coolers, tools, ladders, etc. Stuff stays put and for right around $100, one of the best mods I bought.
