Ever since I got my Cybertruck I’ve been doing a lot more activities outside like camping, off-roading and mountain biking. Well something I got tired of really quickly was having to lift my 80 lb e-bikes into the bed of the CT every time I wanted to go out on a ride.

So I started my search for a bike rack which could attach to the hitch of the CT. Everything that I found didn’t have the load rating that I needed. Well luckily one day while at the Electrify Expo I ran into the owners of RadGnaRack. They make a steel bike rack with a whopping 125 lb weight capacity for each rack, so a total of 250lbs!! And did I mention it’s made here in the USA ??

I made a YouTube video showing the rack and the installation process. If you’re interested give it a watch. If not no worries but if you’re interested in a great bike rack then give the guys over at RadGnaRack a look.

I have 1upUSA racks on both of our cars, super durable and solid. They make a ramp for their heavy duty racks, and looks like their newer Xtreme Duty rack can carry 150lbs per spot. Not cheap, but well made here in the US: https://1up-usa.com/product/v-style-ramp
(I’m not affiliated, long time owner/user bought full-price)
Downside of a heavy duty 1up rack: it’s heavy and unwieldy to move around, mount/dismount to the truck. My wife can’t move our 4-position heavy duty version by herself, and she’s pretty strong.

Does your 1up allow you to open the tailgate flat when a bike is loaded on to the rack and the rack is tilted down?
