What is the purpose of the chin (front and back) piece? Ground effect? Is it supposed to decrease air resistance? Or is it purely for the look?

They’re part of the @Unpluggedperformance front/rear package. Believe it’s only for looks.

18 " wheels with 35" Mickey Thompsons, a solid steel 600+# UP rear bumper and top mounted spare. Mileage? Decreased by a bit due to aero dynamics and weight. About 250 miles per charge.

Hey Jes and Blu, I love both of your trucks... Mine will be black when I get it... I just built a house and am finishing pool and landscaping... The town rules in nj won't let me get what I want, so I begrudgingly have to downsize my plans.... I think CT owners personalities aren't people that like downsizing.... anyway, I will probably go with a matte black... This is a great site for seeing the after market options and add on possibilities.... and as a late 1964 myself, I wish you men best of health always, success, and many more years of happy driving ahead.
