I've read so much that I've confused myself so I hit pause. When I picked up truck I couldn't see much of the blemishes because it wasn't detailed. Long story. Now home and clean I see a lot. Especially on the frunk lid and front facia. Spot here and there on body. First thought is fallout, manufacturing, transit...etc. The only thing I've done thus far is isopropyl alcohol diluted and sprayway ammonia free. I foam cannoned with a regular car wash to get a base clean.

I've been hesitant to go BKF yet and wondering if CitriSurf 77 or 2310 is next try? I thought about an iron remover from someone like Adams or Chemical Guys. I tried to take a pic but it's not easy with SS glare. Any advice for those that took delivery and had the spots and blemishes? If you barkeepers and then use CitriSurf will that bring back passivation? I know this topic is a dead horse and learning but when you get working on you start second guessing. I don't want to make a mistake I can't revert.

Thanks!

Have you applied serious elbow grease with basic soap? Lots of those will come right off.

I had something like this upon delivery and had been waiting so long I just took a few snapshots and told the manager I’d be back if I could not get it out and he agreed to have it addressed if needed. You can see the spot on the driver-side rear door, lower part just right of center. Then, a few weeks later, it was gone. “Cybertruck, heal thyself!” I still have not washed my truck since the April 9 delivery, LOL.

I rubbed the hell out of it with 91% isopropyl alcohol diluted with water and even hit with sprayway after. I guess I'm being timid as to not f something up. It's a drop of some sort that fell onto the surface and stayed there.

The alcohol was like a magic trick. It makes stuff disappear but it's really not gone. I think my next attempt to try that CitriSurf 2310 and see if I can get all the iron out and then go from there. I'm picky as hell with new toys. I'll figure something out and will keep reading what you guys are doing. Looks like I'm not the only one and it's common to deal with but correctable.

I would suggest some simple soap.

I also have a persistent stain from a bird poop and my first attempt to wash it off with different products left an even bigger blemish and water marks. Its subtle so I have mostly ignored it.

I think the next step is Bar Keepers Friend + Windex to rinse off... but I think that will require I do the whole car because it will change the color from a Yellow tint, to a Blue tint.

Watch this video to see the difference is makes at this timestamp. Watch the whole thing if you want more info.
