There's no break-in period like a gas car. The only thing you have to be cautious of are the brakes. They need to be bedded in slowly over the first 10-20 miles.
I've never done that to my brakes. Not saying I shouldn't have, just saying I never have. On some planes, you have a "brake burn in" that you perform when they are changed. That process is exactly the opposite of what you are saying. We accelerate to 80% take off speed, then STAND on the brakes all the way to ABS activation. Then taxi back to the hangar for maintenance to inspect.

The Cybertruck will be my very first EV.
Was wondering, do Teslas require a Break-In Period like 'normal' vehicles or can you "take off" from the dealership?!
I believe that the cameras may need about 30 miles to align themselves. So expect to manual drive home.

True. The safe way to proceed with new brake pads is to bed them in with some heavy useage. The idea is to bring them up to temperature without depositing friction material on the discs (which is what migh thappen with even heavier braking over an extended . Most brake pads will bed in fine with normal use but EV usage is not normal (due to regen braking).

When brakes are new, a few 60-0 stops done near the threshold of traction are a good way to bed the pads in and insure everything is working as intended.
