Every dog has its day! Mine was a week ago. Buying Cybertruck has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride for me. It's a story for some other time, but what I want to highlight is the reasoning behind buying CT and my thought process while and after taking the delivery. As someone who enjoys driving performance cars and motorcycles and also needs a truck for doing truck things, it's extremely hard to find any vehicle on the planet that fits both of these. CT is truly a full-blown utility truck. Metal body, vaulted cargo, incredible payload, and towing (please don't start on the "it can't Tow" discussion. No EV truck can do long-distance towing because of aero. We need pull-through chargers for that). It has power outlets, amazing 2nd-row space, FSD (got a striking warning already), and my favorite of all - the best suspension one could ask for. I'm comparing to Porsche, BMWs, and Rivians. The bar is very high!!

Taking delivery was a breeze. Huge shoutout to Dublin, CA center. They were just amazing. When I inspected the truck, there were no panel gaps, no build or quality issues, or anything I could pick on. I'm very nitpicky when it comes to noise or build quality. I had a friend with me who has a really good eye for the smallest issue. We just couldn't find any. Midway through the inspection, I just couldn't do it. I just sat in the second row, almost lost in tranquility and awe with this magnificent machine. The way it drives, the way suspension handles road noise, the way it accelerates, and the cornering - it's just one incredible Hulk with the agility of a Superman. I'm not a fanboy. I believe there will always be some improvement to happen. Did I find some minor scratches, sure - just two minor scratches. I have put SC request, but I have a feeling SC might just send me home. The scratch is barely noticeable. I wouldn't blame them. It's a truck, and I plan to use it that way. I'll be hauling dirt and equipment, towing short-distance dump trailers, and all other truck stuff.

For those who are contemplating, here's a simple exercise - find any vehicle on the planet (ICE/EV/Tractor, literally anything) that has just these five requirements - 2200+ lbs payload, 11,000 lbs towing, 6' bed vaulted cargo without wheel wells, dent-resistant body, and full length less than 20' (check below picture on why this is important). Just five requirements. If you find it, please share. I'll sell my Beast today and buy that vehicle. I'm not even considering all the other things that make Cybertruck an amazing vehicle - FSD, Tesla network, acceleration, suspension, cornering, road noise, adjustable height, driving modes, foldup seats, speaker system, HEPA filter, camp/dog mode, and 100+ other things.

Huge thanks to Tesla engineers for building this incredible machine. Their hard work is reflected in every part of it, and a huge shoutout to fellow members of this group. I have learned so much throughout this journey, and I'm sure I'll learn more.

For those who own one - enjoy it to your heart. I'm sure every day you drive it, it brings a smile to your face, and for those who are planning to buy it, it's 100% worth it! You'll never go back to anything else. It's a mechanical machine. Of course, there will be issues during ownership, but it's impossible to ignore the fact that Cybertruck sits at the zenith of technology innovation in the car/truck industry.

Here's my Beast, resting and drinking all the electrons while mocking all the brain cycles I spent Bringing him Home!

Congratulations. There isn't anything on the planet like your Beast. You are driving the most remarkable vehicle ever produced encompassing performance and utility.
Incredibly the truck looks good clean and dirty. How is that even possible ? I've driven my Beast 6,000+ miles on streets and highways and miraculously not one dead insect splattered on the windshield. Even now people still approach me and kindly ask to see the truck. I've had some very interesting conversations with strangers. I'm always happy to answer questions and share the tech. On one occasion but there are many. We were driving from Pebble Beach to So Cal. along the Coast. Many great pic ops. At one stop and SUV pulls off the road not to see the view but to see the CT. 7 people from Sweden get out to ask if they could take pics standing next to our CT. Many of us have had great vehicles over the years. But none of us have experienced so much enthusiasm for any truck or sports car.

100% agree with everything you said! I can’t believe it looks good even when it’s covered with dirt. I’m leaning towards not wrapping for this reason. I took delivery at 5pm, so couldn’t inspect properly at twilight. Next day I just couldn’t inspect it outside my home. People kept stopping by all the time. I literally had to take it back to Tesla SC parking lot and inspect there, lol!

I hope more people can enjoy this experience instead of judging it based on polarizing looks!
