You cant make this stuff up....?
Got VIN 4/26....rep said oh it's still in Austin awaiting transport....will update in a few days...
Called SC in Charlotte Sunday and they said the truck is arriving Monday night and I can pick it up on Tuesday! I was like woah that was quick! I need to redo financing still! Offer had dropped off! So we set delivery for Sunday to allow time to get insurance squared away and loan again. All good, made final payment by Friday and was ready for Sunday pickup. Saturday afternoon, Tesla SC calls....hmmm....Mr. Smith we went to clean your Cybertruck and you had several warning lights so we will not be able to deliver tomorrow and we will need the service team to look at it on Monday...
Monday. They didn't start looking until 4:45 and they close at 5.....wtf
Today....nothing new.....except now no one will answer my phone calls I dont care what option I press.....wtf
Oh and a text "no new information"
I live 1.5 hours away or I would just drop by, but not super convenient.
Yeah, I would rather them not give me a truck with error lights or be like the other unfortunate ones who get a few miles away and everything lights up, thats way worse and then I am making payments along with it....so silver lining......
But.....was it not checked when it left Austin? Is it the truck delivery fucking them up? Or does Austin know, and just say oh well it will get fixed where it is going....
FRUSTRATING!!!!
Tentative new deliver is 5/11 but IDK at this point, I have a feeling it will be before or after but not on that day.....
Hurry up and wait some more!
