How are you checking/adjusting these without taking the wheel off? Could you send a pic of the problem spot. I have a rattle but can’t figure it out.
I don't need the wheel off to check the tightness of the caliper cover. I reach through the spokes of the wheel.

Yes you can check the tightness of the caliper cover without taking the wheel off, but if the caliper cover is able to be moved around then you are going to need to take the wheel off to do something about it being loose.

I. never thought caliper covers was a good idea. They offer no functional purpose, and I thought they might increase the heat retention. Just mho.
I painted my calipers based on this exact rational. This happens to be a shitty pic and it’s dark out so will update tomorrow but they actually look quite good.
you can also do them in something other than the five or so colors you can get caliper covers in. I matched them to my wrap.
