I hope you are right although she sounded very confident about it.Highly unlikely due to it being solely cosmetic.
Tesla can’t just void your warranty. If there’s an issue with brakes, they have to prove that caused the failure. There’s a federal law around that.
lastly, brakes are generally not an issue with Tesla due to regen being used most of the time. Take it to a good shop that uses high heat paint and you’ll be good!
