They messed mine all up... They are not aligned and they are not flushed.. I left it there and told them they better fixed it like they were before.. I will not take this home if it looks like shit! They kept it and gave me a loaner. I only hope they fix it... Or else they are going to have to buy that bitch back

Are you guys seeing the dimples where they are fastened after the Cantrails been replaced? I'm being told this is normal or there famous "this is within spec"

Yep, it’s normal, “within spec” and what they’re doing. But … it’s entirely unacceptable to me. So, as suggested above you “may be fine with” it but they will never be allowed to replace my cantrails with this triflin’, low-effort BS!

NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!! if Franz’s design called for misalignment and visible dimples, divots, cigarette burns or whatever the hell you want to call what they’re giving people, then maybe I’d be OK with it (at least I would’ve made a conscious decision to buy something that looked like that).

But it’s not in the design, I doubt that I would’ve spent $120,000 for a car that looks like it was slapped it together because somebody found it too hard to do the work to make it right both functionally and aesthetically.

They ought to be ashamed, in my very not humble opinion.

[1. No, I will not “chill out.” 2. The rivet? Completely different story obviously they could’ve replaced the part from their vendor I think the rivet kind of gives it character certainly doesn’t mess with the aesthetics in the same way -“curb appeal” if you will. So, not the same.]

My cant rails were two different lengths as well. I didn't mention it here. The driver side had no gap or minimal. The passenger side had about an 1/8" gap on each end. The first replacement they were way off aligned, I had to schedule another service visit amongst all the other issues I've been having to get them to realign it and it didn't help with how off the lengths between the two were. Damn shame that the software development, service center in-competencies, and the fact they don't want to fix or correct the issues. I have a 3rd visit just for cant rails to see if they'd be willing to at least address the difference in the lengths, it's probably my 7th or 8th visit for the other issues they keep telling me that they can't reproduce, come back with some data points.

The service center general manager even signed off on this so called work that it was acceptable.

On a side note, I recently tried out 1win login and it was surprisingly smooth compared to the kind of mess I’m dealing with here.
Mine came back worse the first time too. I told them if it leaves the shop misaligned again, it’s staying there. Only way they took me serious.
