What has two thumbs and has a VIN?

I down graded to AWD and got a VIN… just waiting to get all the final info from the SC.
You think you'll ever second guess that decision? I feel like I'd always be wondering, what if lol

But congrats!!!

Thanks. No… after I weighed the cost vs benefit, I think this was a solid decision. The fact that I likely won’t be able to get PowerShare because Tesla has no installers in my zip code combined with looking at how many times am I actually going to go 0-60 at 2.6 seconds, as well as the decrease in mileage made me examine the value proposition. Since we are Colorado, we get even more mileage decrease during winter, so I wanted to maximize that and I certainly wasn’t going to pay an extra 16k for the extender which eats up half the bed. After weighing the pros and cons, it was clear to me doing the AWD was the best choice as the extra 20k for the Beast didn’t have its value. The brighter side too is I got a VIN right away.

PS: I took a good look at PowerShare and I also had to wonder how often am I going to really use it (if I could get it). I rarely lose power and when I do, it’s for a short period of time. I’m not sure I will really get a benefit out of it except maybe once or twice over its lifetime of me being in this house. If I lost power more often for long periods, then maybe it would have more value.

Fair assessment.

You should check out the Anker solix f3800+

Since I'm not getting FS I'm thinking of either getting that and charging it with the truck or just hooking the truck up to a Genny outlet.

Picked it up today. Awesome ride! Drives really well. It’s certainly a head turner. Had people videoing it on the highway and had a bunch of people rush up to me at a Maverik in Grand Junction as they wanted a demo of its features. The oohs and ahhhs it got. Stopped in Montrose for its first super charge to get it ready for going over the mountain passes. Stopped in Ouray for a burger. It had 4 seasons today… Sun, rain, and snow. The plows were on the passes throwing down mag chloride so it will need a bath tomorrow.
