All white interiors in Teslas are not the same. Well, they are generally the same in the S, 3, X and Y but not so much the Cybertruck. Here is a quick look at the differences for anyone thinking of interior color options for your new Cybertruck.

The white seats look nice but maybe the average truck user would worry about getting them dirty. Regardless it would be nice to have more options. Although I guess that would just increase the price of these vehicles.

Maybe. But Tesla's white seats are super easy to clean - literally wipe and go and they look as good as new. Options would be appreciated.

Do you notice the white trim causing a glare on your windows? I seem to recall other members noting that a little while back and even Tesla’s own photos show it.

When I first got my FS I thought I was “settling” for the tactical grey. I remember saying stuff to my wife like “that’s leaving money on the table, it’s a paid option…yada yada” but now after living with it and experiencing many of my friends white interior trucks I couldn’t be happier with it.
In my opinion, it’s a vastly superior choice for the CT interior. Not for any great logical light reflection or chemical make up cleaning reason, just for looks.
It makes the interior a more chill place to be. The white is too stark.
You know what I haven’t seen though? Someone making tactical grey seat covers, armrest covers, seatbelt pads. Steering wheel trim etc?
why is this?
Come on aftermarket, show some love to us tactical grey interior accessoriholics.
Maybe I’m just not looking in the right places. ?‍♂

I have noticed no reflections in the Cybertruck or my Model Y which is white white. I suspect Tesla considered light as the surface is textured ever so slightly and the panels are not vertical. Top strip by the windows is still black as is the dash.

I do see reflections in my Rivian R1S with the Ocean Coast (light gray) interior - really awful reflections in the side glass.

Test drove with white prior to getting mine (big white fan had in MY) but here in Fla the reflection off windshield was blinding. So settled for TG. After living w it I love it.

Per above, figured I'd try to grab a quick video of reflections with the white interior on Cybertruck. I've never noticed any in the front windshield but the side glare is noticeable.

Thanks for doing that. It shows up in the windshield in the video too but, granted, up at the top where it wouldn’t really bother you.

Ha! One year of driving and I never noticed the windshield reflection up there since its so far above my sightline of the road.

Go figure, nice catch :)

I like the white door trim and dash trim but black seats, works well. This way don't have to worry about getting seats dirty. Dogs sometimes smudge the white door trim or myself but wipes clean pretty easy.

Adds a little contrast to the dark cabin otherwise.

Don’t’cha learn something new everyday lol.

No biggie, but tactical grey doesn’t show up on the glass at all. It’s probably the way to go. Only wondering because I’m thinking of getting a second one and wondering about how white stacks up.

If you want to know anything else about the white to help make your decision, let me know. I prefer a brighter, airy, cabin feel and there is a lot of black, and I mean a LOT of black, everywhere. I find the white makes it feels a little bit bigger and brighter. Would still prefer more, like a light headliner but hard to complain about the black alcantara.

I'm too old and have had too many vehicles with black interiors (mostly BMW's) and I'm just tired of it.

BTW, I've been driving 35 years and, for the first time ever, installed seat covers to get some color in the cabin. Go figure.

No need to watch the whole thing, skip to the last few minutes. Really livens up the cabin.
