I’ve never cared for the concept of wheel covers in general for the very reasons you listed. Then the cyber wheel covers specifically added more reasons (causing damage to the tire sidewall and, albeit unlikely, the chance of them coming off while driving). I took mine off ASAP and got these:

I’d prefer a single center cap that fills the entire void, but haven’t found any specifically for Core wheels yet.
Here you go! ?

I got some whiteboard markers, and will use that if/when I take my (Core) wheel covers off - a line on both cover and tire before removing, and whiteboard markers usually come off easily. Just match the line again, being careful not to wipe it off before you're done. :) At least, that's my theory. Someone had a video, where they had trouble lining it up until they figured out the alignment, and then it went on easily enough.

A grease pencil (or crayon) would probably work too, might take something more than water to get it off though.
These are really good suggestions, I will give that a Try when it worms up, I think the plastic is very brittle now also.

Those look really nice. These are the caps that I got for my core wheels.
Amazon.com: VAWIT

I think these are exactly what I got, they come with a wire hook to remove them. Mine came with Tesla Logo in the center button part, but other than that they are identical. I put them on last night and its snowing today so I will let you know how they hold up.

I saw these and I like the logo, but I think these were like $60 for the set? I wasn't sure they would fit so I went sort of cheap first. But the definitely look nice also.

Here’s the video I remembered. A bit after halfway, he works out the alignment, which is obvious once you see it.

Thanks T-Line for jumping in there, I think you clinched another question about those centers on both wheels are the same. So which ever one you have the full center covers will work.

Ok this should of been better documented somewhere like the Manual maybe? Thank you for that video, I never looked there for info there (I should of!) but you are right now it seems obvious now. Its kind of a V8 Moment! Sorry younger people wont know that reference.

So those work? Dang, your website said they fit the A/T wheels but didn’t say anything about the A/S wheels.
