Well that’s what dude said earlier, I wish we could get some more content on this subject matter. I do believe you 1974 but I’d like a bit more evidence and we should be talking about this more often if it’s not negatively impacting our rides

I haven't had to do it since my first time. There's no difference between regen down hill, towing a trailer pushing you or someone pulling you. It all works the same. Regen percentage doesn't change in either way you do it too.

Tow charging is a real thing, and it works. Yes, the manual instructs to not do it, but that's just because people are idiots and towing is dangerous. The Cybertruck won't know the difference between descending a mountain pass and being towed on the level. Just don't do it with a completely dead battery (the vehicle being charged needs to have full functionality).

The tow vehicle will be getting pretty bad MPG due to how much energy the motors are recapturing. Yes, you can add significantly more miles of range than the distance towed. This is one reason why I'm not worried about running out of battery, someone will come along to see if someone needs help. The vehicle needs to be more than powerful enough to tow a 7,000 lb. truck and then some. If it's a borderline tow vehicle, use the low regen setting in the menu.

A little tow goes a long way! Make sure to give the good Samaritan some gas money when you unhook!
