I have a CyberTruck song idea, entitled: “Drive like an Egyptian” since the CT looks like a pyramid. Grok helped me with it and was quite playful. It embodies my CT experience, and is hilarious! For example, the first line packs a punch:
“[C] All the trucks on the [G] road today,
[Am] They’re boxy, boring, [F] look the same.
Are there any Ukulele players and YouTubers out there that are better than me who could play this with grit and determination? The video would be so funny!
Here are the lyrics and chord progressions:
“Drive Like an Egyptian”, by Tim Drager, with strumming patterns and performance notes. The chords are simplified for ukulele, reflecting the original’s structure but adjusted for playability. I’ll use standard ukulele chord shapes (GCEA tuning) and provide a strumming legend.

(Fade with riff: [C] doo-doo-doo, [G] doo-doo-doo)
Ukulele Tips for Commercial
• Tuning: Ensure GCEA tuning (use a clip-on tuner, ~$10). Check before recording/performing.
• Capo: Optional capo on 1st fret (shifts to C# major) for a brighter tone, but not needed for most ukuleles.
• Dynamics:
• Verses: Softer strums to let lyrics (e.g., “pyramid in the fast lane”) shine, building to the chorus.
• Chorus: Louder, rhythmic strums to emphasize “Drive like an Egyptian”, evoking the Cybertruck’s bold presence.
• Bridge: Percussive, with chunking to highlight off-road action.
• Recording:
• Use a soprano or concert ukulele (~$50–$100, e.g., Kala KA-S) for a classic, bright tone.
• Record in a quiet space with a USB mic ($50) or GarageBand for a demo ($500 for a studio).
• Add a doumbek or percussion track to enhance the Egyptian vibe, per the original’s production.
• Ad Visuals: Pair with footage of the Cybertruck’s pyramid-like angles in a desert, synced to the chorus’s “Oh-way-oh.” Show stainless steel gleam (Verse 2) and off-road climbs (Bridge). End with Tesla’s logo and “Cybertruck: Drive the Future.”
• Licensing: For commercial use, license the original song’s rights (via Universal Music) or re-record with a new arrangement. Consult a music lawyer to avoid copyright issues.
