There are two other modes: "Keep" and "Camp". When you're leaving adults in the passenger seat, use Keep mode so the A/C-Heat and radio will stay on.
Camp mode will keep the headlights off and climate control going.
I wish that Dog Mode would deactivate the driver's window switches. I leaft my dogs in the Model 3 once, my terrier stands on my door's armrest waiting for me to return and rolls down all the windows!!! My dogs then hop out the window and into traffic. I REFUSE to use dog mode anymore.
