I'm also dealing with the distorted windshield. I dropped off the CT at a nearby service center and was promptly notified the same afternoon that the windshield had been replaced. I went to go pick it up, and it looked like the same windshield but someone wiped it down good. I said the distortion is still present and they said "it's within spec."

I even spoke with the service manager who also claimed "it's within spec" and showed me another Cybertruck in service with the same distortions. I am waiting to hear back from the service manager who is contacting corporate resolution.

Regarding your issue with the 240v outlet, how much amps were you able to pull out?

Tried charging a CT from the one I was driving (both CT's were 2026 CB's) and the outlet system freaked out if we tried to pull above 23 AMPs on the 240 plug.

Only tried charging his truck from the one I was driving, not vice versa, but did try two separate (and both new) wall chargers and experienced the same failure with both of those...point being I don't think it was the wall chargers causing the problem.

...have you also tried the 120v outlets? I believe they are rated for 20amps individually and as a pair...

Have not - interesting suggestion. Will give that a shot tonight with another friend's Tesla.

Also have a service appointment tomorrow do a tire rotation, and if the issue still persists, I can demonstrate it to service and see what they say...which I'm guessing will be similar what they told you.

Either way will report back in a day or so and let you know we find.

Just took delivery yesterday. I can see the distortion on my windshield as well, but it is all the way to the edge of front passanger side. so it doesn't bother me. No visible distortion in my normal view path. Only thing that is annoyed heck out of me this morning going to work in a rush is the off gasing on inside windshield.

Any result hearing back from the service manager?

Not yet and not holding my breath. I just want it documented in case corporate decides enough complaints are made to do something about it.

Congrats!The best option currently for distortion is to just file the concern with Tesla and then take a rain check for future repair cuz it seems all the windshield lots they have seem to have same defects.

Is your 240v bed outlet working as per spec? My current theory is on 2026 models maybe they reduced the amps flowing out via software setting to avoid all the PCS2 burnout issues Tesla has been dealing with. Someone else posted the same issue as mine, and I find it hard to believe that brand new trucks will show the exact same behavior at the exact same amps.
