I was in the first batch of CyberTruck invitees on Friday, December 9. I ordered my CyberBeast on Saturday morning.

When I was ordering, the delivery time was January to March, 2024. I remember this clearly (sorry, no screenshot) because the AWD could be delivered in December 2023 and I was torn. I had to get over $20,000 higher price for CyberBeast vs AWD, too.

As background, I have the 11th last Roadster made, two PowerWalls for my house, owned and returned a Model 3 and Model 3 Performance, and currently own a Model Y and Model Y Performance with my Roadster (garage queen).

I was at the Tesla Semi launch in Hawthorne and saw the new Roadster unveiled when it came out of the back of the Semi. That was fun!

In 2023, I was invited to the Plaid sales event at the Fremont factory and went around the track twice with two launches.

I'm fairly dialed in with Tesla and have been so since 2011. Yes, an early investor.

A new twist is the bi-directional charging (PowerShare) with the huge battery in the CyberBeast. It is innovative and exciting. Has everyone received and completed the survey? I did and said I have two PowerWalls installed.

For context, a CyberBeast has the capacity of nine (9) PowerWalls and bi-directional charging is hardware enabled.

Regarding production and deliveries of the AWD to date, Tesla is getting AWDs into all of their stores. This is to draw traffic into the stores and sell Model S, 3, X and Y vehicles. The AWDs are roped off to avoid fingerprints.

Complicating matters is getting the Model 3 Highland produced and delivered in the US. I know people that are waiting for the refreshed Model 3.

My belief is the CyberBeast will be the very best vehicle Tesla makes. And Tesla wants it to be robust. Just like a Plaid S or X.

There must be some hardware-related issues with the CyberBeast that are causing a delay and I can only speculate that it is battery related. It could be supply chain related as well. Software can be updated over the air, hardware cannot

I am confident that there will be several Easter eggs that are hardware-related in the CyberBeast that are not in the AWD. With my first Model 3, we were super pleased with the rear seat heaters that were part of a software upgrade months after we had the vehicle. No one knew the heating elements were in place already.

I'm anxious, as we all are, to get my CyberBeast. My hard deadline is in June because I have a 3,000 mile trip planned from California up the west coast to Canada, then across BC to Alberta, and back through Montana, Utah and Arizona to California. There will be a limited number of CyberBeasts delivered by then so I'm sure it will turn heads, especially in Canada.

A June delivery allows me to start my trip in July so I'm (anxiously) chill for nowi

Finally, I'll share that I asked if I should switch from CyberBeast to AWD and was advised not to do so yet.
I configured my Cyberbeast on 1/9/24 and have not received the Powershare Survey yet. Should I keep waiting or should I reach out to Tesla?

Also our timelines are exactly the same from email to ordering time.

I configured the Cyberbeast on 1/9 and have still not received the Powershare survey email. When will I receive it?

I did and said I have two PowerWalls installed. I believe that I have a compatible gateway so it may make it easier and faster for Tesla to enable PowerShare for me.

Thank you for the background!

As anxious as ever, I took a trip to the University Town Center (UTC San Diego) Tesla Store yesterday to take another look at the Cybertruck on display but they recently moved it to Riverside and are not expecting it to return to San Diego until January 24th or so. The nearest Cybertruck on display is now in Irvine 75 miles away.

I spoke with the Tesla Store representative, realizing they are often the least informed but this gentleman took some time to look at my account and proviced some interesting data points. No VIN has been assigned but he stated that once a VIN is assigned that the build would start within 48 hrs. He later added that the Beast would arrive in San Diego within 2-3 weeks of the VIN Assignment. To date, they have delivered 4 Cyber Beasts to San Diego; I assume those were delivered to Tesla employees.

I then asked him if changing my order to AWD would accelerate my delivery. He confidently advised that it wouldnt make my delivery any sooner and intimated a ramp in Beast production.

Those who track VIN on NHSTA should be able to see if there is an uptick in Beast VIN assignments, so will see how this plays out soon.

12/8 order. Hoping we get VIN this week!
Ordered my Cyberbeast on 1/2/2024 West Texas. There are at least 8 Cybertruck ordered from here. I saw a delivery date of 2/6/2024 for the AWD version, on the manager's computer. Nada for Cyberbeast :(

On 1/2/2024, the Cyberbeast was being indicated as a 2nd half this year delivery.

Ordered on 12/15 about an hour after the Cyberbeast went from "early 2024" to "Mid to late 24" Really hoping for May/June or earlier delivery. (Crossing Fingers)

12-22-2023 CB order and mine stated early 2024 but I'm in Florida. I believe they may be allocating a number of units to each city first.

That would be big if true! Nice you got the early 2024 allotment. Anyone else see that?

So between Dec 8 and Dec 15 (7 days), Cyberbeast delivery statement went from "Jan-Mar", to "Early 2024", to "Mid to late 2024". Feels like some kind of supply chain constraint unique to CB? rumint of a 48V electric trimotor supply shortage due to the new 48v electrical architecture?

Ordered mine on 1/9/24. The confirmation said Mid to Late 2024, I think. After looking at the order list, it seems like there are only 800ish people registered with orders. Im assuming many people who ordered, are not registering on here. I hope Tesla plans to build many more than 800 CT's through the first half of the year. I'm fine with Summer/Fall, but it would be great to start seeing some VIN's. assigned.

As I mentioned in another post, I believe they're allocating a specific number of units to each city. I ordered 12.22 and it said early 2024.
