The tent looks awesome but wished there were more reviews on it with details (admittedly, haven’t searched YouTube to see if someone posted a detailed review). I did meet someone who has it and used it camping when he drove across the country. He said it was awesome and super easy to pitch and take down (like within minutes).

He also said it’s easy to remove out of the bed if you need the space (but you’d need two people to help since it’s heavy).

The other tidbit was: it’s made in Italy, so super high quality.

But for nearly $3k, that’s a lot of hotel nights before I’d break even. ?
Hotels can't offer you what the tent can though ?

What didn't you like about it? I've used mine once so far and I like it.
It didn’t meet my needs...I’m not the type to stay just one or two nights, so it wasn’t practical for me. I’d have to remove all my gear, which would also affect the awning and other setup aspects. I prefer a more modular approach that offers greater flexibility for different situations.

Has it changed any? For example using the outlet in the truck bed to blow up the tent? Fixing the fold out legs so they don't break as easily, etc? Just wondering if they made any changes for this new batch?
I didn't have an earlier model, but based on what I've seen on youtube, there are a few upgrades. The legs no longer have a button to lock them so there isn't anything to break. Some versions seemed to have a zipper or something on the cover and mine does not. I think the biggest change is that the trim piece you remove now has some different clips in the front that work well and some different clips in the rear that do not work well. Mine are all smashed up.

I found a 3D printable adapter to be able to use my inflator with the tent. I haven't inflated it yet since we've had bad weather but will probably give it a whirl this weekend.
