Yeah I expected something like TRON or AUTOMAN very doable with EL Lights technology. Oops! I said too much and spoiled my surprise.

If someone paid $30k for $6k wheels, a wrap, and under glow, they either (1) got taken for a ride or (2) are lying about it.
Hello! I am the owner. Just found out about this thread. The design costs, the custom wrap with reflective, the full body PPF, ceramic coating everywhere, the 24" rims and tires, the custom brake calipers, the underglow, all glass with highest end ceramic, windshield protected, lowering kit and the labor for all of that (which was all done by highly skilled and not cheap professionals) had an approximate full retail value of $30K including tax.

I did not pay that much, but that was the estimate.

I would definitely be curious in a full price breakdown if you're willing. I'm used to the aftermarket world, and no one gets taken for a ride more than Tesla owners. For example I'm seeing some people pay $2,500 for caliper painting when that's twice market price for even a top end shop that services exotics.

edit: retail pricing I mean :)

Wow, everyone is so negative here. It’s a cool design, kudos to the owner to take it this far to personalize his CT. It shows how CT can be used to express yourself. It’s no different than fashion statements or cosplay for that matter.

I agree 100% on this - it's like so many of the posters on this thread sensed the comments shifting towards negative criticism and so they piled on so "they could sit at the cool kids' table" or something. Very immature. Don't like it? Fine. If you feel the need to comment, then just tell us WHY this differs from your personal style and leave it at that. Do you want to know what's really in poor taste? It's all the posters feeling the need to make snarky comments. Personally, I look forward to all the many different styles of expression the Cybertruck will bring forth - some aligned with my style, others shooting off in a different direction. It's what makes the world go around.

For me I love seeing everyone do their own unique twist to their vehicle. I simply dislike seeing Tesla owners "taken advantage of"** in regards some of the pricing I see going around for aftermarket work.

**Of course, this a free market, no one is forced to pay quoted prices, etc etc.

If this is what you need to scratch your itch then great, but I think this looks like a movie prop. It's try-hard, while the standard CT looks like it just landed from from another planet.

I'm guessing the decals and business name let the owner write it off as a business truck, which is the smartest part of the whole endeavor.
