So one thing I noticed with this update is the charging % is 1-2% higher than I set. I set my charging to 60% for daily driver. It used to charge and stay between 57-60%… average is sitting around 58/59%. After this update it’s at 61-62% consistently.
Interesting! Wonder if they are trying to “help” with the SoC loss after it finishes charging.

One thing I noticed with this update is that the exterior door buttons now illuminate when you approach. I assume that's due to the uwb android enablement but it sure is nice to have now or Ive not noticed. iPhone folks have probably had this for ages.

Yes I noticed this one too, I wasn't sure if it always did it and I just never noticed it. The charge port light also comes on when you approach if it's plugged in. I like it.

Interesting, all these things have happened for me from day one (May 2024) with iPhone set as key. Glad they are there for anyone now!

Mine keeps charging intermittently, seemingly to keep the charge at the set limit. Right now I've got my Cybertruck at 60%, which is also the charge limit. If I open the app, I can see that every 30 seconds or so, it starts charging and then stopping even though I'm already at 60%. I can also hear my aftermarket EVDance charger (plugged into 120v outlet) make an audible click sound every time this happens.

Another thing to note: It seems like battery drain while idle is higher now. I unplugged my charger yesterday morning with 59%, and when I went to drive the Cybertruck in the afternoon, it was at 57%. When I got to my destination, it had 55%, but I lost another 1% after I returned to my truck later about 5 hours later. Sentry mode was off... I'm pretty sure??

EDIT/UPDATE - 3/19/25, 2:36pm: It's been about 6 hours since I made this post (soc at 60%) and manually moved the charge limit slider down to 58% to get it stop charging every 30 seconds. The state of charge is still at 60%. I've moved the slider back up to 60%, and so far the charger hasn't kicked back on intermittently like it was doing this morning.

We took delivery of our 2020 X in September of 2020. For the first year at least, maybe longer, it did the same thing. At first I thought it was nice and neat, always keeping it at the exact % I had set. I quickly realized it was jacking up my stats in Teslamate then I hated it lol. It counted every charge as a session so it had my # of charges was crazy high. I really hope they don't start doing that on the Cybertruck as well though I feel like charge on solar will help that not happen.

327 charges in the first two months is WAY more than the "real" charging sessions we had on it.
