The traditional armor/glass refit may work on the Model Y, but defies the main Cybertruck weight advantage of an exoskeleton,

I just re-watched "Aliens". Cybertruck would make a better troop carrier. The one they had looked like it could get high centered on a speed bump.

Great and awesome rendering, but with the prevalence of IEDs this is just a pipe dream. No pun intended. All tactical vehicles now have a “V” shaped hull to disperse the blasts from IEDs on vehicles. Flat tactical vehicle designs are a thing of the past or until IEDs are a thing of the past.

The rendering is pretty badass tho!

What we couldn't see in the rendering is the Tesla-designed ground penetrating radar which detects IEDs up to a depth of 3'.

You won't need a grid everywhere to charge these vehicles. What you need is a tanker truck with an electric generator making electricity for a fleet of vehicles which is a lot less volume than a convoy of tanker trucks hauling fuel oil.
The military could also set up field solar arrays at bases that produce electricity without any grid and store in battery packs ready to charge up in remote locations. Charged battery modules can also be dropped or brought by helicopter which could not carry the weight of tons of diesel fuel.
