I guess you haven’t driven in Hawaii or in the south east where nearly all their main highways are easily turned into reverse flow to increase throughput not only during commute hours but for hurricane evacuations. Not difficult at all. Common place.

Yeah, it's very colloquially known as ash. Kinda like how they're not made from cinders, although coal ash has been an ingredient before, hence being called 'cinder' blocks.

Here we go again ? They don't turn to "ash"... and certainly not in the respect that you explained. That wikipedia article states it uses "bottom ash" which is a coal combustion material is used MAKE it. There is no association with bottom ash and"ash". Go look at the photo as left by Nexus6:

I got my week old Foundation CyberTruck safely out of the Palisades Wildfire, but my house burnt to the ground. I feel somewhat lucky as at least I got our cars out, My neighbor lost both his house and Beast CyberTruck. His beautiful house was right behind the truck. Not an ash even left of it now. So sad.
