Just tested my Powershare. flipped breaker (simulating power outage), Powershare turned on perfectly within a few seconds, and then when I turned the breaker back on, our electric companies power resumed in about five minutes. The weird part is that after power was restored, the cybertruck did not start charging automatically. The universal charger light was blue, and the cybertruck message on screen said “charging stopped-power lost while charging. Check power source and charging equipment“.
so in essence, the power goes off, the cybertruck automatically starts powering the house, but when the power goes back on again, the cybertruck will not resume charging back up to its battery set point. I have to manually unplug it, then plug it back in again. This seems counterintuitive, as you would want your Cybertruck battery to be charging back up automatically in case the power would go off again.
appreciate it if others can let me know what the behavior is of their cybertruck in the situation. If your power goes off, Powershare kicks in, then powershare shuts off when electricity is restored, will your cybertruck automatically start recharging, or do you need to unplug it and plug it back in again like I do? See pic below.
