Does anyone know a good detail or car wash that knows how to SAFELY clean a CT in the LA area?

Safely means without damaging the stainless steel or plastic trim. Drive through car washes are not good because they leave a residue that dulls the finish.

So mine is now wrapped but it goes through the car wash once or twice week perfectly safely without issue. Same before wrapping.
same technique you’d use to safely clean a garden shovel or chef knife.
Worry less about it is my best advice.

Good for you. Mine went through a TOUCH-LESS car wash 2 years ago and the air from the dryer blew off the plastic trim on the left rear of the bed. You know the piece that flies off on freeways for some owners! So no thanks.

I’m looking for a good detailer with experience cleaning the exterior of Cybertruck in the LA area.

Shame I'm not still in LA. I love detailing my truck (especially brightening the SS while keeping the brushed effect) and would of gladly done yours for some $. It's probably the most rewarding vehicle to clean when done right.

I didn’t mean to sound condescending there. That piece flew off mine too in the freeway and I had to tape it on with nanotape until Tesla replaced it but now it’s on there good.
All I’m saying is, once you figure out the process of safely going through those you’re likely to wash your car much more frequently and I think there is benefit to that too.
I love the detail idea but I can’t afford to do it or have the time to do it basically weekly and with kids there is significant weekly…shall we say…substrate for making the car dirty.

No worries… I have two touchless carwashes that I can use. The problem with those is they will leave a residue on the SS that dulls the finish until you clean it off by hand.

Gotcha. Admittedly I don’t know much about taking care of the raw finish. I ve had ppf and ceramic on my trucks since the very beginning.
