YEP….that is one of the key reason for purchasing. But, that is not the same as keeping the stainless looking nice.

My un-wrapped CT has been through a brush type car wash dozens of times with no problem. On occasion a felt ribbon gets ripped off the brush by a stainless corner.

Yeah I've heard rumors of CT's being turned away from non-touchless (normal?) car washes because of that. Not that it hurts the truck but can hurt the brushes. But I've taken mine through a normal brush carwash (it's what's close to my house) a dozen times and it doesn't do as good of a job as I would, but when I'm lazy? Never had an issue.

The thing to remember is that every single touch car wash sandpapers your vehicle every time you run through it, and that includes your glasses and plastic parts.

Most people probably never notice the damage done, but it's still going to be there.

Almost 2 years of going through my local brush car wash weekly.
Truck looks like new with.no noticeable effects and I’m pretty attentive to detail.

Exactly why I decided not towrap the CT - finish is nearly indestructible relative to wraps and paint

I have had my front driver side hub cap come off on the guide track in automatic car washes (now I take it off before hand). Other than that, no issues.

Tried an automatic car wash with brushes and it messed up my PPF.
Is that PPF or standard vinyl? I dont think I have seen many iridescent PPFs.

What brush car washes are you using? All the ones here refuse cybertruck due to weight. Mike’s, Flying Ace, etc

Do they refuse F250/2500s as well? It only weight 7900lbs and is shorter than an F150. Put it in neutral and it moves through just fine. I use the Kaady chain and other random ones on the highway without issues.

Love the Full brush automatic car wash on the naked Cybertruck and have been through at least 100 times. It does leave micro marks from the brushes, but it actually leaves a more uniform shine compared to original finish and I get it graphene waxed every time. I love how it always beads in the rain and resists finger prints.

Seems to be a common opinion of those who have no problem going through the wash. So can you see the micro "scratches" if you're not looking for them? If you don't like them, what's the fix?
